It’s really all about connection—connecting with your horse, whether on the ground or in the saddle or carriage. Imagine that each part of your body is linked to a part of your horse. So, whatever you want your horse to do, you simply mirror that action with the corresponding part of your body. Sounds simple, right?

For example, if you want to turn your horse to the left, just turn your head, neck, and shoulders to the left—and your horse will follow! Give it a try and see how it works.
